NOTES TO MY YOUNGER AND MY FUTURE SELF

Be happy. You have nothing to lose. All that you have, never really belongs to you.

Happiness is a choice that takes a lot of courage. If you face the hardships and tribulations of life, a smile can feel like stretching steel. But if you are completely honest, you realize that there are two choices in that moment: give in and lose your light, or laugh about the crazy reality called life. Never compromise your light.

Be brave to carve your own unique path of life. You have nowhere to go. The goal is not outside. Nothing to achieve. Be like a sculptor taking away what is not needed. At some point, you will know who you are - and that's what you came for.

Be yourself in every possible way. Especially when it scares you. Again: Especially when it scares you.

Love your mistakes. Mistakes will take you to places you would otherwise never see. Sometimes to uncomfortable places you didn't ask to go to. They are your individual travel guide. Feeling guilt doesn't help. Guilt will try to justify whatever. Accepting a mistake will enable you to transform it into something beautiful. And then you will realize "There are NO mistakes!"

You are beautiful. Nothing to add, nothing to take away. You are a divine creation. How could you not be beautiful.

All the "flaws" you identify in the mirror make complete sense if you look at the whole picture. That whole picture can never be seen in the mirror. Stop searching in the wrong places. When you look the right way, you are always the light shining through. How could you not be beautiful.

Love. Love. Love. Yourself and everyone around. Especially the people that don't seem to deserve it. Love is expressing who you are. Love has the capacity to take it all in, heal every wound and grow with every step on your path. Always choose to love with a heart wide open.

Forget and remember.
